Is there a doctor in the house?

There was a weird beginning to last Saturday’s football game.

The game was delayed 15 minutes because there was no doctor hired to attend the game.

After about five minutes the PA announcer asked if there was anyone in the stands that was a doctor.

The mix up was because the home team is suppose to hire the doctor and the although the game was played at Cerritos College, Santa Monica was technically the home team.

Head coach of Cerritos College Frank Mazzotta said he was completely embarrassed by the situation.

Cerritos thought Santa Monica would handle getting the physician and Santa Monica Thought Cerritos was taking that responsibility on.

Does it really matter who’s to blame both athletic departments should have known better and made sure there was a doctor at the game.

It would have really sucked for the players and fans that drove to the stadium, if the it was cancelled due to the inability of either side to communicate better.
