What is the true Falcon blue?

Most people probably know that the scoll colors are blue and white, but how many people have noticed that the blue woren by the atheletic team’s are diffent shades of blue?

The women’s soccer team and the foot ball team wear a dark blue.

The men’s soccer team wears a royal blue along with the women’s basketball team.

And last season’s men’s basketball wore a light blue.

So, what is the true Falcon blue?

According to Dan Smith instructional Dean of health, physical education and athletics it is royal blue.

Then why do the teams on campus that repersent Cerritos College wear such different shades of uniforms.

A possible explanation is that the coaches choose the uniforms and they choose the color they want.

Smith also said that once the uniforms are bought a takes a while to replace them because the teams most wait until there is enough money in the budget to replace the entire stock of those uniforms.

Well whatever the case is there should be a standard that is set and every team should wear the same colors.
